Caroler Collector (“the App”) is developed and operated by Marquart Design (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your information is collected, used, and stored.

Account Information
When you create an account or sign in, we collect:
- Email Address (used for authentication and account recovery)
- User ID assigned by Firebase Authentication
User-Generated Content
When using the app, you may choose to provide:
- Carolers you mark as owned or wishlisted
- Quantities, personal notes, and tags
- Wishlist items
This information is stored securely in your private user data and is not visible to other users.
Purchases
If you subscribe to Caroler Collection Pro, Apple processes all payments.
- We do not collect or store payment card details.
- We receive purchase status information from Apple to unlock Pro features.
Diagnostics & Crash Data
We may collect limited diagnostic data such as:
- Crash logs
- App performance information
This data is used solely to improve app stability and performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data only for the following purposes:
- Authenticate users and manage accounts
- Sync your collection across devices
- Enable Pro subscription features
- Provide customer support
- Improve app reliability and performance
- Maintain security and prevent misuse
We do not use your data for:
- Advertising
- Marketing communications
- Tracking across apps or websites
3. Data Storage & Security
- User data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud) infrastructure.
- All access to private user data is protected by authentication and security rules.
- Admin privileges are restricted and verified.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
Limited data may be processed by trusted service providers solely to operate the app:
- Firebase Authentication & Firestore (account data, app functionality)
- Apple App Store / StoreKit (subscriptions and purchases)
5. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are managed by Apple.
- You may manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
- Subscription status is used only to enable or disable Pro features.
6. Email Communications
We may send system-generated emails for:
- Account verification
- Password reset requests
We do not send marketing or promotional emails without your consent and you may change your preferences at any time.
7. Your Choices & Rights
You can:
- Update or change your email address
- Reset your password
- Delete your account by contacting support
- Manage subscriptions through Apple
If you no longer have access to your registered email address, you may need to re-authenticate or contact support for assistance.
8. Children’s Privacy
Caroler Collector is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
